By 2050, the world would have to produce 60 per cent more food to feed a world population of close to 10 billion. Current farming practices would not be able to meet the human consumption patterns today. While new technology and food alternatives could more effectively address food security and supply chain challenges, we have to also uncover and address systemic issues and adverse behaviours within the food industry.
