Food R&D and Manufacturing
Tian Seng has close to 35 years of experience in Nestle holding different functions from R&D to commercialisation, manufacturing and business operations; and with several international assignments and expatriations. He has a strong record of delivering innovative product launches, process improvement and nutrition enhancement in both emerging and established markets at Nestle. He worked closely with business units of various markets and was based in Switzerland to develop consumer-centric new products to drive sustainable growth.
Before returning to Singapore, he was the Head of Product and Process Development in Nestle R&D India and concurrently as the Global Technical Expert and Global Category Lead for noodles and culinary in Nestle Group. In his earlier years, he was also working in operations as Plant Manager and Manufacturing Services Manager, during which key emphasis was on the cost, productivity, asset intensity, quality, efficiency and overall continuous improvement in operation. He was also the Group Manager in Nestle R&D Singapore responsible for Noodles, Cereal and Nutrition.
Tian Seng holds a BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Nutrition; and MBA in Technology Management.
