On 24 April 2023, the signing of the Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IPI and National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center (NETC) took place during the 4th Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council meeting. Represented by Mr. Wong Lup Wai, CEO of IPI and Mr. Xie Jihua, President of NETC, this was one of the 15 agreements inked between government agencies and private organisations to boost cooperation in areas such as digital economy, healthcare and tourism.
Leveraging on the collective effort to elevate regional cooperation and to connect the two innovation and technology ecosystems, this partnership is essential to widen IPI’s global network of technology sources. It will provide new market opportunities for Singapore companies to establish beachheads in China, as well as for Chinese companies to source for innovative solutions from Singapore and to venture into the Singapore market.
