Held on 26 March 2014 IPI was pleased to play host to our international partner from VTT of Finland. This by-invitation event was organized to facilitate industry-technology matching on thematic application areas. This is the second networking event organized by IPI for VTT.
Represented by Dr Risto Kuivanen, Business Development Manager and Dr Erja Turenen, Vice President, VTT readily provided an overview of their latest technologies on Factory of the Future (FoF) and Powder & Surface Treatment, showcasing FoF capabilities in conceptualization, plant layout and design optimization. Also touching on powder and surface treatment technologies including powder injection moulding, laser sintering and thermal cold spray, the session ended with an active and fruitful Q&A session.
