An 11-member business delegation from the Iwaki Cooperation Support Networks Association (ICSN) of Japan visited IPI on 15 February 2017. ICSN is an industry-academia-government association supporting the continued technology and business growths of SMEs in Iwaki, Japan.

As part of their exchange trips to Taiwan and Singapore, the delegates were here to explore potential overseas technical collaboration and business matching opportunities with local companies, universities and research institutes. To further promote cross-border collaboration, ICSN also brought some Iwaki SMEs to Singapore to showcase their technologies.

Lim Ming Khai, Deputy Director from IPI, gave an introduction on IPI and its role in enabling enterprises to grow their business through innovation partnerships. Following which, Mr Tadashi Tezuka, Deputy Manager of ICSN, shared about their association and available services in encouraging business growth in Iwaki, Japan.
