IPI welcomed its technology partners to its fifth Tech Partners’ Networking Session on 31 March 2017. The annual event is a networking platform for IPI’s partner network to interact and share ideas with members of the innovation and enterprise community. There was an enthusiastic turnout comprising of Innovation & Enterprise Offices (IEOs), intermediaries, industry associations, foreign embassies and government agencies.
Professor Lam Khin Yong, Executive Director of IPI, opened the networking session with a welcome speech and thanked IPI’s technology partners for their strong support which had helped IPI facilitate more than 110 successful technology partnerships over the past six years. He called for their continued support in bridging the gaps between technology providers and the industry in the years to come as IPI continues to work towards creating more opportunities for its partners to collaborate with the industry.
In addition, Professor Lam announced that TechInnovation 2017, IPI’s flagship technology-industry brokerage event, will be held on 19 to 20 September at the Marina Bay Sands. The two-day technology marketplace brings together international and local technology providers and seekers to explore technology and business collaboration opportunities through open innovation.
