The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association of Singapore (CTFAS) held its Annual General Meeting on 28 April 2014 at the Four Seasons Hotel, and invited IPI to engage its members in a talk entitled “Reach Out to Exciting New Technologies in the Cosmetic Industry”.

Dr Pauline Tay, who manages the Healthcare division at IPI, intrigued the audience with exciting new-age technologies that can be easily developed into hi-tech cosmetic and personal care products. Technologies ranged from anti-aging compounds and hygroscopic materials to face prediction software and novel delivery systems.

The talk was very well received and ended on a high note with an interactive networking session. CTFAS members and IPI candidly shared views on the challenges of an ever-changing business landscape and a common goal to innovate new products in order to remain competitive.
