The road to securing a sustainable food future calls for innovative solutions and ideas across the food industry and affiliated sectors that support it.  

Following the well-received AgriFood Innovation Webinar in September 2020, co-organisers IPI, Innovation Norway and Trendlines Group regrouped with a new partner, Aquaculture Innovation Centre in 2021 to explore how countries can achieve food security and sustainability through aquafarming.    

The three-part Aquaculture Innovation Webinar series, held from March to May 2021 saw 30 industry experts and researchers from Singapore, Norway and Israel sharing their perspectives with more than 650 participants across 13 countries. Besides having a platform to exchange ideas and foster collaboration opportunities, participants also gained insight into the global trends in sustainable aquaculture, innovative aquaculture practices in feed, genomics and vaccines, as well as the latest technological solutions and processes that enable fish farming even in challenging environments such as the desert.
