Food packaging, an integral aspect of the food and beverage industry, ensures food safety and quality standards. A good selection of packaging materials combined with hurdle technology prolongs shelf-life, prevents cross-contamination, reduces food waste, and maintains food quality throughout its shelf life.

In recent years, the global pandemic had resulted in generating a surge in food packaging. Singapore households consume close to 20,000 tonnes of disposable waste annually. With increased demands for sustainability, food packaging waste is a topic of conversation for food businesses, where they are looking to balance between practical packaging options and accommodating sustainability efforts.

Jointly organised with Republic Polytechnic, join us in an upcoming webinar “The Future of Food Packaging” on 28 September 2022, 9.00 am to 12 pm (GMT +8) to learn more about emerging food packaging innovations from Asia and uncover sustainable food packaging solutions as well as technologies designed for shelf-life extension to reduce food waste.
