This year, Nordic Innovation House Singapore (NIH-SG) and its core partners from Business Sweden, Innovation Norway, Embassy of Finland, and Business Iceland aims to establish new market opportunities for Nordic technology startups, scale-ups and growth companies operating under the Circular Economy theme. The NIH-SG Water-Waste-Food (WWF) Market Entry Programme - Singapore 2021 will provide Nordic water, waste, and food waste tech companies with opportunities:
  • To understand the water-waste-food ecosystem landscape in Singapore and Southeast Asia
  • To address real problem statements in the water, waste and food waste sector
  • To showcase their solutions and network with key players from the environmental industry
  • To develop potential partnerships and collaborations to expand its business in this region

Join NIH-SG and participating partners IPI and Enterprise Singapore in a virtual group showcase to hear 10 selected Nordic companies present their innovative solutions that are addressing problems in the water, waste and food waste industry. SELECTED NORDIC COMPANIES

  • ARTASFin is a house of state-of-the-art solutions in environmental technologies focusing on water, wastewater, air and bioenergy. They design, produce and implement customised engineering projects by conserving nature and aiming at zero waste.
  • Dewaco offers complete sludge thickening, dewatering, and sludge removal systems water and wastewater treatment.
  • Flootech supplies complete and advanced process solutions for intake screening, water treatment plant, demineralised water treatment, wastewater and water reuse. 
  • Scandinavian Water Technology (ScanWater) supplies water and wastewater products and solutions to fulfil needs within the following markets: Water Solution (turnkey projects); Humanitarian & Aid; and Municipal.
  • Sofi Filtration provides industrial water filter to address the water purification challenges and specialises in automated and self-cleaning microfiltration (MF) technologies for several industrial applications. Sofi prime industrial applications are Mining, Steel, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Marine, and Power.
  • Valmet Automation provides future-proof automation solutions for pulp, board, paper, tissue, energy, marine and process industries also including the wastewater industry.
  • N2 Applied aims to improve global food production by increasing yield and reducing emissions. It has developed a patented technology that enables farmers to produce their own fertiliser using slurry or digestate, air, and electricity.
  • Norsk Biogass develops products and services geared towards the waste to the energy market. It enables the efficient separation of organic material from plastics and other packaging materials in existing waste streams.
  • TerraMarine collaborates with partners to transform waste resources into high-quality fertilisers for agriculture and green markets. The end products are exported to countries and places with a great need for natural organic fertiliser.
  • RiverRecycle offers a sustainable solution to prevent ocean plastic pollution. They have developed a technical solution to effectively remove floating debris from river systems and a value creation model that can support local livelihoods and economic development.
